Building your website is just the first part of marketing your business on the web, designing and programming your site to your satisfaction and then publishing to the internet puts you into the web arena with countless millions of other sites. Somewhat like a Yellow Pages without an index or alphabetical order.
You need to have it there but will anyone see it, when we build a site we put the basic search words into it, these keywords, metatags and descriptions lie within the hidden layers of your site. The actual visible text can also be optimized and depending on your requirements we will do this. However at this point you are simply ‘out there’ with a working site.
What the site needs now is to be marketed – or optimized!
This process is an ongoing and expansive process, it takes time and therefore money, not all clients want to pay for this process, some try to do it themselves, some don’t want it done at all, it depends on the reason the site exists, consequently we don’t include this option in the ‘site build’ part of our cost estimate, but as a separate option.
